Huntstile Organic Farm wedding photography – Rich & Amanda

My second wedding this year at Huntstile Organic Farm wedding venue in Goathurst (near Bridgwater).  Yesterday it was Richard & Amanda’s wedding and would be best described as “jammy.”  It drizzled with rain all day the day before (and it is doing the same today) and yet on the wedding it was glorious sunshine all round!

It was nice to be back at Huntstile again so soon for another wedding.  It is very local to me which is handy, but more than that it is a very relaxed wedding venue and I like the way the gardens lend themselves well to people milling about and enjoying themselves.  That really helps me get those candid photos.  All the flowers in the garden really add to the background in the wedding photos too.

Confetti in abundance and plenty of sunshine and smiles as Richard & Amanda walked down the aisle.huntstile-organic-farm-wedding-photography-04

A quiet moment away from the guests under one of the lovely trees.huntstile-organic-farm-wedding-photography-07The goat had a taste for wedding bouquets it would seem.  Next on the list was Rich’s pocket watch chain!huntstile-organic-farm-wedding-photography-08huntstile-organic-farm-wedding-photography-09

A short walk up from the main farm building I found a hay barn; I had to take the opportunity to get some photos here!huntstile-organic-farm-wedding-photography-10

The silly version of the group photo of everyone.  Just about managed to get everyone in place.huntstile-organic-farm-wedding-photography-11

The marquee looking stunning before it filled with wedding guests.

Amanda did all the table decorations herself.  Every guest had a teaspoon in their favour bag and Amanda had hammered each person’s name into the spoon by hand.  Given how many guests there were at the wedding, this was obviously quite an undertaking!  All the bunting was made from duvet covers with the help of the family.  The marquee really did look fabulous when I first walked in.huntstile-organic-farm-wedding-photography-12

One of the bridesmaids was given some funny glasses to wear.  The little dot on the nose is a winding mechanism.  After turning it, the moustache and eyebrows waggled.  Much hilarity then ensued!

Amanda’s mum made this fantastic wedding cake, the attention to detail really showed, I took plenty of other photos of the cake with a close up lens to show off how much effort had gone into its creation.huntstile-organic-farm-wedding-photography-02

After eating the mains, it is of course justified that you have something naughty afterwards.
