


	Moment Photography – a personal service Moment Photography is basically me, Ross Alexander. That means that when you call up, it's me you’ll speak to. If you make an appointment to discuss what photography you are looking for whether it be portrait or wedding photography, it will be me you speak to. When it comes to taking the pictures, that will be me too. I’ll be the one who goes through your photographs on the computer screen, adjusting the colour and tone until they’re just right, and if it’s a series of wedding photographs I’ll be the one presenting the pictures afterwards and helping you arrange them in the album. I love the whole process. I do everything. I created the website and I’m the one who does the bookkeeping. So if it’s a personal service you’re after, I’m your man. If it’s a standard studio shot you want, I’m not. About Ross Alexander Me and photography: It really started when I made a pinhole camera at college. This is about as primitive a camera as you can get: a light-tight cardboard or tin box with a hole punched in it so that light can fall on the photographic paper inside. But it sparked my imagination, and I tried out numerous ways to capture different scenes in weird and wonderful ways. Years later I’m still trying. I’m happy to say my obsession seems no closer to an end than when it began. After college my next photographic milestone came when I travelled around New Zealand on a bicycle. This totally changed how I captured images. You’ll find some of the photos I took on my trip here on the site. Finally, I went digital.
