Bridgwater College Prospectus for School Leavers
The brief:
Capture each student in the context of what they are studying and give many different angles to allow multiple options for the designers of the prospectus. There should be plenty of interest in the photos and students should be enjoying what they do.With this in mind I went about photographing each student in a given time slot trying out a number of scenarios. Different lighting techniques were used to get the best results and give diversity to the images.
Subjects covered were for example: Art & Design, Agriculture, Automotive, Business, catering, Engineering, Forensic Science, Hairdressing, Horticulture, Media, Music, Performing Arts, Sport & Exercise Science.
Aside from some supporting images, my images were the main core of the school leavers prospectus and along with the input of the designers resulted in a very strong finished product the client was very happy with. Some of the images were later used as large format photo boards that lined the corridor in the college as well as being used in multiple other publications, flyers, the Bridgwater College website and livery on local buses.
