Choose Moment Photography - your Somerset wedding photographer
Firstly don't just take my word for it, read my wedding photography testimonials (link above). All my work is based around one thing; quality. When looking around, you will find some photographers offer a very cheap price for a disc of your wedding images. I charge a little more for the images I produce as cheap prices seen elsewhere often mean the wedding images are put straight onto a disc without any effort to enhance the images in Photoshop afterwards. This is not something I do. The standard of my work is based on me taking the time not just on the day, but also in the computer editing in Photoshop afterwards.
A quality product comes at a price and with each of my products, you see quality in abundance. Make no mistake I will give you high quality wedding photos and the albums they will be displayed in are timeless in their design. There are an abundance of cringeworthy Photoshopped albums available out there on other websites, but I can assure you mine are designed in a tasteful manner that won’t look gimmicky and date quickly.
To create beautiful images for every wedding I have to limit how many I take on, so be reassured that your wedding is important to me and I want to give you stunning wedding photos, not deliver the images in the fastest time and at the lowest price.
Rather than just show a small selection of wedding photography on my website, I have displayed many wedding galleries showing you much of the day so you can get a very real feel for the standard of my work. I want you to feel assured that I will take great photos all day and I am not hiding the duff ones to make me look good. I usually take over 1000 photos at a typical wedding. This allows me to get a wide range of coverage of your day whilst also giving you a generous choice of images to choose from so you can pick the very best.
People often ask me if the images I give them on disc will be watermarked or if they can copy them. I want to keep things simple for you and me. When you receive your wedding images from me on disc, they are not watermarked and you can copy them and share them as much as you like. I even give them to you in various sizes so it is easier to upload them to facebook as well as print. The images are high quality enough to print to A3 or larger so don't think the detail of the images is limited to what you see on this website.
None of the photos on my website have been taken on a photography training day. Yes that's right, there are a lot of fantastic wedding photos out there on other photographer's websites that have actually been taken on photography training days (usually easy to spot because there is no one else around in the photos or there are few examples). There is nothing wrong with using photos on your website that are of friends and family or models, but if it is unlikely the photographer will be able to recreate the same photos on your wedding day then you could be very disappointed with your results. Likewise if you are only seeing a very small selection of photos from a wedding, are all your photos going to be that good?
With a lot of experience photographing different couples at various venues with difficult lighting conditions I'll make sure wherever you get married I'll capture the essence of the day, and without dominating it.

I am also insured, use the best equipment and I am not unfamiliar to the phrase "I'm not very photogenic." :O)
Although most of the wedding photography I do is based in Somerset I am happy to photograph weddings outside Somerset, such as Wiltshire, Devon, Dorset. For coverage of your wedding further afield please contact me.

Smile. You'd be surprised how many serious faces I see.
Allow enough time for photos. Why not consider an early ceremony so you can enjoy a few hours before the wedding breakfast with friends, but still have some nice photos. Nothing worse than everything feeling rushed.
Consider what is in the background of where you will be having your hair and makeup done if you are having photos at this time
Set aside some time for photos of just the two of you without distractions of other peopleDon't
Look at your feet as you walk down the aisle. You've spent a fortune on a beautiful dress and are looking stunning, so walk with your head high and a big smile on your face.
Race down the aisle as you leave the church, what's the rush? Say hello to people, smile, enjoy the moment and let me capture it for you
Go too crazy with the amount of group photos you want, they can take a long time, so make sure you have allowed time for this
