“We absolutely love them and can’t thank you enough for producing an amazing bunch of photos for us. I’m absolutely astounded how you managed to shoot us from so many angles during the ceremony and I can honestly say I really didn’t notice you dashing round to do it! You’ve really captured the fun of our day and I relive it a little every time I look at them.”

David & Kate’s story

“We met in Dublin and after a few pints of the black stuff Kate thought Dave’s eyes were the sparkliest blue she’d ever seen and David was wondering where he could get the largest kebab from!!

A few weeks later David joined Kate’s 30th birthday celebrations in Brighton and was smitten but also marvelled at her ability to wear a cushion on her head. The long Sunday afternoon train journey home gave them an opportunity to start to get to know each other a little better and to arrange their first date.

2007

The first date went well and many others followed. David showed Kate his fancy snowboarding skills in Les Arcs and during the summer, a trip to France in a tent cemented their mutual love for the country and each other (despite Dave’s weird fly fishing activities).

2008

With plans for world travel hatched, the Temple-Mason household was born and Kate and David started to find out about all those peculiar little habits. Kate is not to be messed with in the morning and Dave uses every pot and pan in the house to boil an egg; but toilet seats were lowered and scatter cushions were kept to a minimum so all in all times were good.

2009

The beginning of the year saw a first trip to Meribel, who could have predicted what was to come? Jobs were resigned from by August and we waved good bye to the UK for 12 whole months. Central and South America were the first places on the itinerary and we spent an amazing 4 months getting by on our woeful Spanish – ‘Dos Cervezas Por favour!’

2010

New Zealand and Oz beckoned. 2 months in Delilah (our Campervan) in NZ, we fell in love with the place and nearly stayed! South East Asian and Indian adventures completed the trip and by September we were home! Not for long though, as a season in the snow was planned; so it was off to Meribel and Chalet Alysson.

2011

After a rocky first few weeks (Kate only got through the madness due to David’s rock like steadiness!) the remaining 5 months in the mountains were bliss and Kate even managed to show Dave some of her (much improved) skiing moves. Kiki’s pub, Jäger bombs and tartiflette will always be close to our hearts!

By midsummer we were home and Claude joined the Temple-Mason household, life would never be the same again!

2012

What a year! Jubilee celebrations, tickets to the Olympics, rubbing shoulders with Bradley, Jess and Mo at Sports Personality of the Year and of course, a romantic proposal in Italy. The only way 2013 could ever top that would be to get married. Oh, go on then…”
