I’m not the sort of person who likes to do just one type of photography, I want to do a bit of everything and be good at everything. Ok a bit unrealistic I admit, but I felt it about time I got out there and got some great landscape photography of Somerset’s coastline. Just a few days ago I went to Pembrokeshire in South West Wales, but ironically I found I got just as good photos here on my doorstep at Kilve beach.

I can see this being a new angle to my photography. At least landscapes don’t move or blink or run out of time, they just wait there patiently to be captured on camera. Of course you have to battle the elements at times, but I am prepared to put up with a little cold to get my reward.

For now I have a small selection of images, but this will build over time.

Near Triscombe Stone on the Quantock Hills
