I met James whilst working on the photography at a birthday party. Whilst I got on with the photography I was extremely impressed by James’s ability to keep the kids captivated and entertained. He had their total attention at all times and the party went so smoothly when James was around.
James had lots of little tricks and showpieces which caused a lot of wows and laughs. He had a very slick routine and clearly knew exactly what he was doing.
James is exactly what a kids party needs in order for it to run smoothly and be well remembered. Highly recommended.

Being a photographer, my sight is obviously very important to me, not only personally, but also professionally. East Quay Vision have provided me with really fantastic service every time, especially from both Edward and Sarah. I have had a number of tests on my eyes, not just for glasses, but also eye health checks. The checks have been really thorough and what I personally like most is how everything is explained in a way that I understand. I knew exactly what was going on with my eyes, why, and how best to treat them to keep them tip top. I have been given a very friendly service whilst also being helpful and very informative which I think is a great combination. I tried another local optometrist recently, but their customer service style came across as them being more interested in my money than my eyesight. Not so with East Quay. Highly recommended!

I currently have an iPhone 4s. It is a few years old now and the battery was dying before it had reached 0% I dedided a new battery was in order so I bought one online from iphoneFixUK. Unfortunately after installation I had the same problem. After a few phone calls I was told that it may be another issue. The charging port on the phone can be problematic apparantly. After already sending me two batteries, committed to the solution iPhoneFixUK sent me a new charging port (free!) for the iPhone and advised me on which video to watch online to help fit it. Even when I was having some trouble performing the very delicate install, they were happy to talk to me about the problem over the phone so I could resolve the issue. Amazing service, thank you!

Whenever I can and when it isn’t totally freezing or bucketing it down, I like to get out on my racing bicycle. I have always enjoyed cycling for the freedom and quietness on a ride. Every now and again the bike needs a service and The Bicycle Chain in Bridgwater do a really great job. I have just had the “Silver Service” and had lots of new parts fitted to replace those that had worn out. It cost me a few quid as a fair bit of work had to be done, but the bike now rides like new and the brakes are super sensitive! They even cleaned the bike before handing it back. It’s really satisfying for me to have a bike that works flawlessly and feels great to ride. Thanks Bicycle Chain.

Another annual visit was made to my local car garage today. I have used NRK for the past 4-5 years now and they have always been very good. I have received honest advice on how best to look after my car and how best to keep costs down maintaining it. I have never felt I have been overcharged and NRK have been fair on all occasions I have needed some work done. I first started using NRK based on the recommendation of others and I haven’t regretted it. If you are nervous about car dealers overcharging and you want a friendly, professional service, NRK are highly recommended.

I visited this cosy pub last night with 6 friends. We all had a great time. The surroundings were relaxed, the service was good and friendly and the food really excellent. Plates were hot and vegetables nicely done and flavoursome. Highly recommended. At time of writing £12-15 for a main course

I visited Mulberry’s for a lunch date and was VERY impressed. I had already got a feel for the place via a video on the website and the special lunch offer where a glass of wine was included looked inviting too.
The ambiance was quiet at this time of day and that was fine by me. The decor was also very nice, this was one of things that attracted me to the restaurant. I had a two course meal which included home made fresh bread which was delicious as well as a leek soup (also very good). I had a fish dish for mains which was so full of flavour. It wasn’t necessarily large portions, but was extremely well presented, tasted delicious and with a glass of very nice red wine included too I thought it was tremendous value for money. My date had a beef dish which she asked to be cooked rare. She commented on how nice it was and from the taster I had of it, it was cooked perfectly.
I can’t recommend highly enough, this is just the sort of place you hope to come across. I came away feeling very fortunate I had found such a nice place.
