Wedding photography at Dillington House

I was very happy to provide wedding photography at Dillington House for Jason & Lisa on their wedding day. Dillington House is a stunning venue set in large secluded grounds. Having such a beautiful venue means you can be sure the wedding photography at Dillington House will be something special.

It wasn’t your average wedding at Dillington House though. Jason is a total Doctor Who addict and long before the wedding day he was hatching a plan of how to incorporate his love for all things Doctor Who into his big day. Jason secretly filled me in on some of the arrangements for the day, which included a real full size Tardis from the Doctor Who BBC TV Series, and a very fetching Gold Dalek t go with it. Of course everyone loved to have their photo taken in front of the Tardis or the Dalek and all sorts of tomfoolery took place. Many people were “exterminated” naturally!

This isn’t the first time I have photographed Jason. Jason has had a few acting roles and needed some actor headshots, which I was happy to provide for him. Next came his 40th birthday party photography which I was also happy to help him with (you can find this under events in the menu above). Then of course came the wedding. Even though it was nice to be around someone familiar, I like imagine that I have never met each wedding client before, as I want to make sure I am delivering the very best photos for them. Doing the job for someone you know however is a very nice addition.
