Alex and Bec’s story

“We met at Glastonbury Festival 7 years ago! A great start, cause if you can fall in love looking and smelling the way we did you know it’s gotta be something good. Even after so many years Alex was slightly apprehensive about doing the wedding thing so we wanted to create a day of fun and partying with all our friends and family. I hitched a ride to the little church in Kilton with my Dad on a triumph motorbike – and arrived with my make-up pretty much dribbling across my face, which was the start of all the fun. We rocked out to our first hymn, ‘everybody needs somebody to love’ by the Blues Brothers and got everyone in the mood. Timmy a great friend married us, NO tears but a few fluffing of lines! We walked out into the world as husband and wife to Etta James ‘I don’t want you to be no slave’ On to Kilve beach for some pics with Ross and then back to the marquee for an afternoon and night, filled with Somerset frolicking, ridiculous amounts of dancing, hog roast and toasted marsh mallows on the bonfire. All in all a fabulous fun start to our lives together, which will hopefully always be filled with laughter and bright colours, thanks Ross for capturing some great memories. xx Bec and Alex.”
