No over the top Photoshop filters hiding bad photography, just timeless images. And no wedding dress photos with bleached out details because the camera is set to auto! You can read more about that near the bottom of this page.
At each wedding I do my best to tell the most accurate story of your day. I capture natural and relaxed wedding photos for you that you will love.
Working as a Somerset wedding photographer, I have met many lovely couples, and received wonderful positive feedback from them.
"Ross made our wedding a very special occasion. He was professional at all times, arrived early and took photos of the guests arriving, then took amazing photos inside the church. Outside he gave us directions to get the best photos with humour and fun. At the reception he took exceptional photos of ourselves and our guests. I would recommend Ross to anyone wanting a wedding photographer or a professional photographer for their special day or occasion."
So when choosing your Somerset wedding photographer, book me, I'll do you proud! I'm also happy to travel to other nearby counties to photograph your wedding. As well as Somerset, I have photographed weddings in Gloucester, Devon and Dorset.
I've seen some pretty poor wedding photos from many an inexperienced Somerset wedding photographer. If you are using a friend for your wedding photos, or know your wedding photographer is new to the business, then maybe you have lower expectations and that is fine. After all, we all have to start somewhere.
However, if you expect more than that, don't get caught out by someone who wants you to believe they know what they are doing, when actually they have little experience and use their camera on auto all the time.
I was looking at the website of another Somerset wedding photographer today, and was dismayed by how in the photos, the details in the wedding dress were completely lost when in bright sunlight. When you have spent a lot on a beautiful wedding dress, you really don't want all the intricate details to be washed out in the wedding photos by an inexperienced photographer.
I have edited some of my photos to simulate what you definitely want to avoid. Beware of photoshop filters that attempt to mask bad photography too.
